Trying to figure out how to get your stunning work right into the hands of your dream clients?
I've put together 5 steps that I think are important in having an amazing brand that will bring you the success you deserve!
1. KNOW YOUR WORTH
You need to be confident in your skills and experience. If you’re not, how can you expect anyone else to be? If you lack confidence, you’ll hold back from putting yourself out there which stops your ideal clients from seeing you! Position yourself as the go-to expert that your clients need.
2. KNOW EXACTLY WHO YOUR IDEAL CLIENTS ARE
You need to know your dream client inside out! Who are your ideal clients? What age are they? How much do they earn? Are they married? Do they have kids? Work out exactly who you are aiming your business at and what problems they have. How can your business help to solve these problems? Create your content around this.
3. KEEP YOUR BRANDING CONSISTENT
Now put yourself into your ideal clients’ shoes and imagine they are finding your social media or website for the first time. What are their thoughts? What is their first impression of your brand? Take a look at a brand or business owner that you really look up to – what is their branding like? What do you like about it? How does yours compare?
4. MARKET IN THE CORRECT PLACES
When I started my business, I would advertise on local facebook groups and selling pages if people posted “Can anyone recommend someone to make me a logo?” and I soon realised, these people are not my ideal clients. Any work isn’t good work, and the work I was doing for these people (that I didn’t even really enjoy) would have been better spent on passion projects that would catch the eye of a future ideal client that found my page! Now, I put out work that I really love and trust that it will attract the people I’d love to work with or I respond to those facebook posts on much smaller facebook groups filled with women that are really in my niche.
5. CREATE FREE CONTENT
Admittedly, this is new for me! This is my first blog post but I plan doing a couple per week from now on. I spend about 80% of my free time researching and pinning articles on Pinterest (how sad) and end up following the authors on social media or signing up to their newsletters because I enjoy their content so much. Grow your audience, even if they aren’t paying you!
Hopefully that has helped you to think of how you can attract your ideal clients! Let me know!
